Mountain Memories

Come and enjoy the north Georgia mountains at Mountain Memories Cabin. This cabin is in the mountains of Ellijay, Georgia in the Coosawattee River Resort. The cabin located in a beautiful, secluded, wooded location within walking distance of the Coosawattee River. This a great place for a romantic, relaxing getaway or as the launching pad for enjoying the attractions of the north Georgia mountains including Amicalola Falls, historic Blue Ridge and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway.

A Large master suite with king bed and a whirlpool tub has a screened in porch on the upper level. There is also a loft with a futon and futon chair for extra sleeping. The main floor has a large bedroom with a king bed, full bath, kitchen, dining room, and a cozy den with full sleeper sofa and access to the porch with plenty of rocking chairs to enjoy the quiet natural setting. The lower level has a queen bedroom, full bath, den with queen sleeper sofa, and a kitchenette. The game room has a dart board and a 3–in–1 game table with pool, ping pong, and air hockey. The hot tub is also on this level. This property is open for long term or vacation rentals. There is now a new fire pit to enjoy those beautiful Georgia evenings roasting s'mores!

Close to historic downtown Ellijay in the 'Apple Capital' of Georgia! The Apple Festival is held on the second and third full weekends in October. Delicious apple products and wonderful crafters are what make our Apple Festival so famous!

White water rafting on the Ocoee River is near enough to take a day trip as well as the beautiful Amicalola Falls. For our golfing enthusiasts you can spend the day on the breath taking White Path Golf course. The resort has so many amenities to take advantage of you may not ever want to leave! Be sure to swim in one of our four pools (one is indoor and heated). You can work out in the fitness center located in the recreation center. Play tennis on our tennis courts, fish in the stocked bass pond, or tube down the Coosawattee River! Or you can just relax by the fireplace or on the porches to enjoy the sights and sounds of nature all around you! Memories are waiting to be made!
