Ellijay is in the apple capital of Georgia and the 2nd & 3rd weekends in Oct are extra special because of our Apple Festival. Amicaloa Falls and white water rafting on the Ocoee River make a perfect day trip! Horseback riding, golfing on the beautiful mountain Whitepath golf course is a must for golf lovers. Fishing guide on Carters Lake, boat rentals from the marina or bring your own boat for tubing, fishing or skiing all make this the perfect cabin to call home for your getaway to the North Georgia Mountains!

We are located on scenic Carters Lake in the North Georgia Mountains approx 11 miles west of the historic town of Ellijay, GA. Being about 90 minutes North of Atlanta makes this the perfect getaway from the city. The Lighthouse Cabin has had guests from all over the country. The views are breath taking and the cabin offers an inspirational atmosphere! Be sure to visit us during the Apple Festival, special holidays & for those extra special family reunions! This is a wonderful place for your church or business retreat! Because of the upper & lower paved driveways it is the perfect place for bringing your own boat to fully enjoy the benefits of Carters Lake! Three extra mattresses help to expand your sleeping arrangements for more sleeping options! This cabin offers great privacy inside and out! Wonderful outdoor activities include basketball, horse shoes, bonfire pit & hot tub. A brand new foosball table makes this a great place for kids of all ages to hang out & be entertained!
